THINGS TO CONSIDER WHEN REQUESTING A QUOTATION

FastCAM® Quote Everything (QE) is a PC-based, Windows application software package, designed to meet the complex quotation and management information needs of Metal Service Centers, however any processing business can benefit from this easy, affordable system.

The FastCAM QE system includes linear and profile quotation however you can purchase the system for PLATE ONLY. For the purpose of initial quotation we will assume the complete system consisting of Linear, Profile & MTO quoting, inbuilt SQL Database with pre-defined Reports, with the following output: paper based cutting lists, Word files, PDF's and DXF files. Please be sure and specify in the notes section if you only want the program for Plate.

You can deploy FastCAM QE immediately as a workgroup or on a PC Server and scale to more users when required. Note: Installation and configuration of the system is at a MIS level (requiring proficiency with computing systems). Installation and Training by FastCAM is excluded unless specified otherwise.

Site Licensing breaks are as follows: Entry level = 3 user or 5 user (both use a workgroup engine so you do not need a server). For 6 users or more you would need to purchase a server edition. (10,15, 20 and 50 users). Company, Geographic and Internet Site Licenses are also available however pricing assumes that all users are located on one server unless specified otherwise. Use the Comments field to let us know Users per Server/Site if appropriate.

CONNECTION TO EXISTING BUSINESS SYSTEMS

XML output is a cost-plus feature that lets you achieve a loosely coupled connection with your existing business systems. Note: Your IT staff or your system vendor would need write a small program to automatically read the XML file (containing all the quote details), extract the data you need, then input it into your system. This is a cost-effective and practical solution but is excluded in pricing unless specified.

Full integration is also possible however this is strictly by individual quotation. Cost is determined by a number of factors. It is more appropriate that we speak to you however if you tell us the name of your Accounting/ERP/Production Systems and the type of connection you need we can give you a general idea of the level of complexity. Your request will be handled in strict confidence and as a matter of priority.
